Student Leadership Education is what we are all about! Our leadership education is as innovative, revolutionary and developmentally appropriate as it is dynamic, impactful and life-long lasting.   We are the product of years of practice, research, curriculum evolution and a strong passion for leadership. Armed with award winning teaching and coaching experience, academic expertise in adolescent development, established global success, and a ginourmous mass of enthusiasm, we are here to educate and inspire. Click on a program to learn about it’s purpose, curriculum, outcomes and logistics.  Like trying to share a life-changing adventure such as when you backpacked through Europe with a friend who wasn’t with you, it is similarly difficult to explain to others what an ELC Leadership Education experience is like unless you’ve experienced it. Defining Leadership

We define leadership as students empowering others to thrive and become the best versions of themselves possible. This is accomplished by students being positive advocates, driven motivators, and creating supportive environments in which others can reach their full potential. Our programs educate and train students, groups and teams in the arts of positive leadership, self-awareness, attitude development, teamwork, communication, goal setting and maximizing potential.

 

Research meets practice. Passion meets more passion.

Our Leadership Education curriculum is designed to target all students  ranging in age from 14-22 years.  Choosing this particular age group and developing our leadership curriculum was as much about our practical experience as it was about our research on adolescent development and the developing brain.  Evren J. Gunduz, the ELC’s founder and director, fused his award winning years of teaching and coaching middle and high school students with his studies and examinations of human development theory and group studies as a graduate student at Harvard University. Our studentcentric programs; they’re real.

We are not a motivational speech that simply talks to a  seated group of students in an auditorium for an hour, gets students to laugh or cry, and leaves.  We are not a summer camp in which students hang out and play fun team building games. We are Leadership Education, as powerful and transformative as the best class or program in any top middle school, high school, or college.
