Leadership Academy

Our Leadership Academy is the premier program and pride & joy of the ELC.  This is an experience unlike any other in the world of public or private education and is our original program. Starting out in 2005 at Hopkinton Middle School, Evren ran a year long course on leadership offered to fifteen of his 8th grade students.  They met after school twice per month and then ran a single day leadership camp for forty of their peers as a culminating project.  Lives were changed and word spread.  The year long course and the single day camp fused to form the Leadership Academy, a week long summer camp-like experience spanning more than 40 hours of leadership education curriculum, small and large group interactions and an individual’s discovery of their own leadership and life potentials.

Academy Graduates, welcome to the ELC.

Graduates from the Leadership Academy become members of the globally acclaimed Enjoy Life Club. Following our full week of cutting edge Leadership Education, students participate in our ELC commencement which begins an empowering bond with their peers and former Academy graduates as members of our positive leadership based Club. Purpose

The Leadership Academy is designed to give students the ultimate experience in Leadership Education.  Our purpose is to educate, mentor, inspire and empower students to live with the core attitude that their value in the world is in direct proportion to what they give and do for others.  We ignite the understanding that you have to be able to lead yourself before you can lead and positively impact the lives of others.  The Leadership Academy takes students on a journey of self-discovery teaching them how living as a positive leader better’s the world and ultimately leads to a more fulfilled and enjoyable life! The Academy is for all students who…

  • Possess interest in exploring and learning about their potential as a positive leader

  • Enjoy helping others, want to amplify their impact and strengthen relationships with friends and family
  • Have ideas and a desire to advance the culture of their school groups or community
  • Aspire to have more intrinsic motivation and maximize their personal potential in school and life
  • Are part of a formal leadership team and want to train together to increase capacities to  lead effectively (i.e. sports captains, class officers, etc.)
